A brief history of our company:
In 1987 Marvin R. Wischer and his wife Karen had a dream of owning their own company. As a Vice President at Century Construction, Marvin realized the decision was not an easy one. He and his wife did a lot of soul searching to see if they had the determination that it would take to start their own electrical company. Marvin and Karen soon realized that they had what it would take and created KW Electric.
Operating from their home allowed them the flexibility to expand operations and hire more people in the early years of the company. This flexibility paid dividends in allowing the company to create a highly skilled and trained workforce. The results of their work has created a quality reputation that has only grown over the years.
In 2000, KW Electric expanded with a Heating & Air division run by Mike Wolking. In 2001, KW grew again by adding a Plumbing division which was headed by Rich MacKnight. These expansions allowed KW to broaden its area of work into both residential and commercial service areas. In 2005, KW Electric, Heating & Air, and Plumbing changed their name to KW Mechanical, Inc.
KW Mechanical, Inc. still maintains many of the same working relationships it had when the company first started in 1987. KW Mechanical, Inc. prides itself on being a company that you can trust to do quality work at a fair price.
